Anti Wrinkle Injections are now available at sherwood family medical centre  Our most popular cosmetic injectable treatments include upper face anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers in the cheeks or lips. We most commonly use anti wrinkle injections to reduce fine lines and wrinkles in the forehead, frown and crows feet. We also offer anti wrinkle injections for gummy smile, facial slimming, excessive sweating and migraine treatments! Or, you may choose to plump and refresh with our hyaluronic acid fillers! Fillers are used to replace lost volume that occurs with aging – we most commonly use fillers in the cheeks and lips. Travel vaccinations are now available at all our centres. Our Goodna, Kenmore and Sherwood Centres are now Accredited Yellow Fever Vaccination Centres. So whether you are travelling to Bali or to Darkest Peru, we have your immunisation needs covered.


Home visits are only at your Doctors discretion. Should you require a home appointment please discuss this with our friendly reception staff.


Due to medical, legal and ethical reasons if you require a repeat script we require you book an appointment to see your doctor. Please phone for an appointment at your preferred centre. 


Due to patient confidentiality reasons results are not normally given over the phone. It is recommended that you book an appointment at your preferred centre to discuss your results with your regular GP. Generally results take 2-3 days for your doctor to receive however some results do take longer. You may phone to check that your results have arrived prior to your appointment.



For abnormal results our centres provide recalls via SMS, phone and mail. Our reception staff are unable to discuss results over the phone but are able to tell you if your results have arrived. If you are worried about your results please phone to book to see your regular GP.   Health reminders are sent via mail to remind you that you are due for follow up eg. immunisations, pap smears, review, follow up blood tests. Please advise us if you would prefer to not use this service.  


 We Bulk Bill all Medicare rebatable services for all current Medicare Card holders. Please bring in your Healthcare or Pension Card if you do hold one.   If you are unsure if the service you require will incur a charge please check with reception and they will be able to inform you.   If you are an overseas visitor please ask reception of the current fee schedule. Work Medicals and work injuries are not able to be Bulk Billed. If you are unsure if you will have to pay for your visit please inquire with our friendly reception staff who will be happy to help. 


  If for any reason you are not happy with any aspect of our Medical Centre’s service, please inform us immediately. We strive to provide you with the best possible service and your feedback will help us achieve this.   You can discuss your concerns in person with your doctor or with the practice manager or in writing and we will respond to your concerns promptly. You may also leave feedback in our suggestion box in our centres. We do take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. Protecting your privacy is important to us. Your Medical Record is a confidential document. It is the policy of all our practices to maintain the security of personal health information at all times. Our Doctors are not able to take phone calls during consultations. You may request to speak with a Practice Nurse who may be able to help with your enquiry otherwise a message can be left for your Doctor who will contact you as soon as possible.
